Upon graduating from the University of Cincinnati's Design, Architecture, Art and Planning program in 2001, I had acquired over a year's worth of professional experience through the school's Cooperative Learning Program. This is where I had the opportunity to work for companies such as Liz Claiborne, John Bartlett, DKNY Jeans, and BCBG Max Azria. I began my career by moving to New York City to work at the Natori Company. This was when I knew that lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear were my calling. I was obsessed, and to this day it is still one of my passions. From sexy satins, sheer chiffons, delicate laces, and every soft knit imaginable, to alluring kimonos and big cozy robes, I love them all!
After 13 years at the Natori Company, it was time to move on. This included a stint in Columbus, OH working at La Senza, part of the Limited Brands Corporation, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of bodysuits, teddies, bustiers, and dancer panties. I returned to New York City to enter the world of freelance fashion, and have since worked with a number of amazing companies, including Komar, where I currently work. Over the past two years, I've designed for labels such as Oscar de la Renta Sleepwear, Halston Sleepwear, iRelax and numerous private brands, some of which have not yet been launched.
The designs on my website provide a window into the 18 years I've spent working in fashion. They include countless seasons of my work, and feature pieces from conception through execution. This curated collection showcases my vast experience in brand innovation, concept creations, and team leadership, as well as years of love and passion for the industry.
